Trimethylglycine (TMG) is a natural compound derived from beets that improves mood, 

concentration, energy and health by maintaining serotonin levels. TMG or betaine is helpful for

cardiovascular health by modulating body’s

homocysteine level. With its special feature, this product helps body cells maintain their natural

volume, which especially protects kidneys against high levels of electrolytes and urea. TMG

Mechanism of Action:

Trimethylglycine (TMG)  is  an  osmolyte,   protecting intracellular cell volume under

conditions of osmotic stress. By this mechanism Trimethylglycine protects the kidneys from high

levels of electrolytes and urea. Research shows that there is a link between high levels of

homocysteine and cardiovascular diseases. This product helps to maintain safe and healthy

homocysteine levels in the body. TMG enhances VLDL (Ven, Low-Density Lipoprotein] secretion through

its effects on homocysteine levels, therefore it acts as a lipotrope, reducing accumulation of fat

in liver and preventing hepatic diseases and especially fatty liver. Studies show TMG can inhibit

the expression of NF-kappa B, TNF-alpha, and other inflammation, proteins, which may partially

explain its positive impacts on general health.
