Cosar Pharmaceutical Company was founded under the name of Chemico Pharmaceutical in 1974. Its main products categories were oral antibiotics, which were manufactured under the license of Beecham co. (English company). During the years the company has been expanding its areas of expertise and widening the range of its products by establishing new production lines on high potent products oral solid dosage forms (Box 3), bulk powders, and this trend will be sustained by introducing its first biosimilar product in 2022.
